The 100th Day

Today marks Brandt's 100th day of Kindergarten. Of course there will be a celebration, lessons centered around 100 and all sorts of others things to mark the occasion. He had a project to collect one hundred of something and find a way to display it. We chose to collect one hundred pennies and spell out his name on a poster board with them. Very creative, right? It only took me three kinds of glue to find out that only hot glue will hold pennies on a poster board. Guess who got the glue all the pennies down?
In the end the pennies are on and he added the writing and picture. Here is the finished project:

Did you see his hands? Are we raising Edward Scissorhands? This is Kindergarten creativity at its best! Great job B!! Have fun celebrating 100 days. You are doing awesome in Kindergarten.
