Book Fair

My little kindergartner is growing up. This morning was Hole 'Lotta Fun With Mom at the Book Fair. We went to school at 7:00 am for donuts (and coffee) and to pick out our Book Fair books. B already knew what he wanted. His first choice was a book called "Bad Kitty Takes A Bath" and it is a chapter book. When I first looked at it, I thought no way. We sat down and sure enough, he read it to me. It will take some time, but he can read it. I am so proud of him!! My little kindergartner - reading chapter books! I hope he will develop a love of reading that will last forever. I know that I did not love reading in first grade (when we started learning).

Now Campbell and I are off to Smashing Times for Play Group. Three year olds and mosaics - I'll post the pictures and results soon!
