Feeding The Ducks

Both Brandt and Campbell love the ducks and turtles at North Park Mall. Since we don't live as close to North Park as we used to, we don't see them as often as we would like. So, today Campbell and I went to feed the ducks in a neighboring subdivision. I wasn't sure how she was going to respond, since these ducks are accustomed to people and being fed. She was hesitant at first, but then got brave. These ducks are really tame and will get really close to you, if you let them. The braver she got, the closer she got. She even scolded one (the fat white one) for taking food she was trying to throw to another.





This duck was her favorite. It had these crazy feathers on top of its head that she called crazy hair.


This may be one of our new favorite outings!
